Best Buds

If there is one thing that we hope for our boys it is that they are the best of friends throughout their lives. Most days they enjoy playing together and really do love one another. It has been so much fun to watch, when one does something the other wants to do the same. They have the best time chasing each other around the house or seeing who can scream the loudest in the car (this drives mommy crazy but we live with it).

Dylan is really getting into trains and cars like his big brother. They have spent a lot of time just sitting and playing together. It is so sweet to see.

We made a trip to the McWayne Center this past week. We brought along cousin Katelyn (known to the boys as Ka Ka). She was a huge help and the boys enjoyed playing with her. They had so much fun.

How Blessed We Are

This was a rough week for me emotionally trying to deal with some different things. I just had to keep reminding myself how God has truly blessed me. We take for granted so many things; family, friends, breathing another day.

The Lord has blessed me with 2 beautiful boys and such a wonderful husband. I don't know what my life would be without them. We need to live life to the fullest.

Could it be any hotter ?!

You know it is hot when all you want to do each and every day is play in the water. Yes, I am talking about my children who love the water but I also wish I could spend all day in a pool to cool off. Thank goodness for those baby pools to stick your feet in. It is only June and the temps have been in the 90's off and on for the past two weeks. I'm never going to make it through July.

All that to say that the boys love the water and had a great time playing in the fountains at the zoo. It was Dylan's first time and he hung in there with the rest of the kids. Joshua just ran around like a crazy man. Thanks to a friend who let me use her camera I am able to share these pics. I just need to carry my camera with me at all times I guess.

Minnie has been found!

Even though it has been less than 2 days, it seemed like an eternity that Minnie was lost. Joshua loves him some Minnie Mouse. Yes, he likes Mickey but he LOVES Minnie. Her presence is always made at naps and bedtime. A few days ago we could not for the life of us find her. We looked everywhere and I mean everywhere. She just so happened to be chilling in the zipper pocket of his backpack. Keep in mind we looked though the backpack a couple of times, just not realizing that he would of put her in the pocket. We never felt the little body of that stuffed animal. All that to say, after you have checked everywhere to look for something, check again.

Dylan is our eater. He is also notorious for getting food in his hair, on his face, on his ear, etc. He was eating a cookie and I guess went to rub his eye. He soon developed the uni-brow. These are precious times that needed to be saved with a photo. I just couldn't pass it by.
